Puerto Rico has some great waterfalls, but I’m sure you know that. Always great pics. Sorry to hear that you got robbed. That’s totally fucked. I’ve been using my iPhone for most of my recent photos, including a series of videos done between Dec., 2011 and the end of Jan., 2012. Anyway, take care my friend!

Real Bummer Josh! Thanks for taking us through the experience with you, even though it must’ve been hella painful to go through! We feel your pain…and anger too! Go ahead and announce those digits to the license – why not right?!!? I will pray for karma to bite those guys in the butt. That’s the good thing about being Buddhist, you KNOW what comes around goes around, so eventually those guys will get what they deserve…even if it doesn’t mean that you get your camera back. I would have NEVER thought you would be a victim of a mugging, for sure…but that’s why those wusses needed 3 people to make you feel overpowered. At least you’re safe and even if you have some mental trauma, over time, you’ll recover from that. If you need, you can chant “Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo” My Buddhist prayer…http://www.sgi-usa.org/newmembers/resources/faqs/whatisnammyohorengekyo.php it always helps me when I’m feeling down or need some extra power-ups in my life!

Brad, I took these photos with my Nikon D700. I shoot them in RAW and did some toning in photoshop. I always shoot color but sometimes I convert low light photos like the above to b+w. I always shoot in manual mode which gives me more control over exposure and the use of the light, I tend to underexpose in these cases to bring emphasis to the light.
Thanks for the comment, hope you and your family weren’t too impacted by the fires in Texas last year. I missed my team’s assignment to Bastrop because I was out on the hurricane in NC.

Love the Black and White pictures, what camera are you using when taken your pictures, and how in the hell to you get the black and white photos to jump out and look so freaking good.
We where in a school together about 5 years ago in Bastrop Texas.
I work you the Sheriffs office here at Hays County.
