The cats

Had some friends over this weekend and we were discussing some of my family pets and the conversation turned to the two bobcats my family raised.  I hadn’t looked back at those photos in a long time, after showing them the photos I wanted to share a couple here.

I never heard about the bobcats–what is their story?? How did you and your family come into raising them??

  2. My brothers rescued them on a wildfire when they were very young. My family took care of them for a little over a year and then they disappeared, we suspect someone took them for their hides. They were outside cats, obviously and they had learned to kill their own food, but still hung around the house. The dogs learned quickly to leave them alone.
